In October 2013, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) launched the “Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN” campaign to encourage motivated and capable Japanese youth to take the initiative to study abroad.

Tobitate! Study Abroad JAPAN offers the largest scholarship amounts among study abroad programs. Students can receive this scholarship only once during their university enrollment. Students from Okayama University’s School of Medicine have applied for it to participate in overseas MRI internships or elective clinical training abroad.

 

 

Individual applications are required. After the initial document screening, final selection is determined through an interview.
