JASSO

The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) supports programs in which Japanese universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, colleges of technology, or specialized training colleges (professional courses) send their enrolled students to partner institutions for a period of 8 days to 1 year under student exchange agreements or similar arrangements. Okayama University Medical School, Faculty of Medicine  is supported by two programs, where participating students receive scholarships provided by JASSO.

  • 2021–2023: “Medical Education Study Abroad Program Integrating Basic and Clinical Sciences”
  • 2020–2022: “Developing Healthcare Professionals to Promote SDGs in Collaboration with ASEAN Nations at Okayama University”

These programs support medical research internships and overseas clinical training (with grade coefficient restrictions).
