The new students for the 2026 academic year have enrolled.

On April 2, 2026, 108 students from the Faculty of Medicine and 156 students from the Faculty of Health Science were admitted to Okayama University.

In the morning, the new students attended the university-wide entrance ceremony for all faculties and graduate schools of Okayama University.
In the afternoon, they participated in an orientation session for the Faculty of Medicine held at the Junko Fukutake Hall on the Shikata Campus.

At the orientation, Professor Wada, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Maeda, Director of Okayama University Hospital, delivered congratulatory and encouraging speeches to the new students.
The event concluded with an introduction of the executive members from both the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Science.
