Regarding the “Certificate of Infection Control Measures for Participation in Clinical Training”

At Okayama University School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, the curriculum includes hospital visits and training at medical institutions such as Okayama University Hospital from the first year. To prevent infections among yourselves and to protect patients, especially those with weakened immune systems, thorough preventive measures are required upon admission.

After passing the entrance examination, you will receive a set of enrollment procedures by mail, which includes a request to obtain and submit a Certificate of Infection Control Measures for four viral diseases: measles, rubella, chickenpox, and mumps. As these matters may be difficult to understand through documents alone, please also refer to the instructional videos as needed.

As future healthcare professionals, it is vital to recognize your mission to ensure your own safety and the safety of your patients. We ask for your full cooperation in thoroughly preventing hospital-acquired infections.
