Okayama University Holds Grand Graduation Ceremony for the School of Medicine
Today, Okayama University hosted the graduation ceremony for the School of Medicine. A total of 113 graduates, along with their families and friends, gathered to celebrate this joyous and memorable occasion.
The ceremony began at 1:30 PM with a choral performance of the university and student songs. This was followed by an opening address from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, who praised the graduates for their hard work and achievements, and expressed high hopes for their future endeavors.
Congratulatory speeches were then delivered by the Director of the University Hospital and the Dean of the Graduate School, offering warm words of encouragement to the graduates. During the conferral of degrees, the valedictorian received their diploma on behalf of the graduating class, accepting it with a bright and proud smile.
In the valedictory speech, the representative reflected on the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, expressing both gratitude and determination for the journey ahead. The heartfelt message resonated deeply with the audience.
The ceremony concluded with a closing address from the Head of the School of Medicine, who offered final words of encouragement to the new graduates.
