At Okayama University, we strongly promote clinical participation training (Clinical Clerkship) with the goal of enabling students to learn the fundamental knowledge, thinking processes, skills, and attitudes required as a physician by actively participating as members of a medical team.<\/p>\n

From January of the 5th year to August of the 6th year, students undergo 26 weeks of training, consisting of 20 weeks within the university and 6 weeks in external hospitals or departments of their choice. For students in the regional quota, 2 of the 6 external weeks must be spent in a course related to community healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
