Okayama University, Faculty of Medicine adopted IB admissions in 2015, with an enrollment capacity of 5 students (3 students from 2015 to 2017). By 2024 academic year, 95 IB graduates have applied to the IB admissions. The admissions process does not include academic tests; instead, applicants are evaluated based on their high school academic records (IB scores), a statement of purpose, and an interview. As of 2024, 5 students have graduated from Okayama University, Faculty of Medicine, and 23 students are currently enrolled, playing central and active roles within the university.<\/p>\n<p>The reason Okayama University, Faculty of Medicine takes the lead in accepting International Baccalaureate students lies in the alignment between the competencies fostered by IB education and the school&#8217;s admissions policy.<\/p>\n<h4>IB Learner Profile<\/h4>\n<p>All IB programs aim to cultivate individuals with a global perspective.
