JASSO provides scholarships to students who meet the qualifications and requirements for these programs.<a class=\"btn_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jasso.go.jp\/ryugaku\/scholarship_a\/haken\/index.html\">https:\/\/www.jasso.go.jp\/ryugaku\/scholarship_a\/haken\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Okayama University Medical School, Faculty of Medicine&nbsp; is supported by two programs, where participating students receive scholarships provided by JASSO.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2021\u20132023<\/strong>: &#8220;Medical Education Study Abroad Program Integrating Basic and Clinical Sciences&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>2020\u20132022<\/strong>: &#8220;Developing Healthcare Professionals to Promote SDGs in Collaboration with ASEAN Nations at Okayama University&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These programs support <strong>medical research internships<\/strong> and <strong>overseas clinical training<\/strong> (with grade coefficient restrictions).<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;\">\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"4\">JASSO\u3000<strong>Financial Support<\/strong> or <strong>Grant<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th>Designated City<\/th>\n<th>&nbsp;<\/th>\n<th>&nbsp;<\/th>\n<th>&nbsp;<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Los Angeles (LA)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>New York (NY)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>San Francisco (SF)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Washington, D.C.
