JASSO

Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offers scholarships to eligible students enrolled at Japanese universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, technical colleges and vocational schools (specialist training courses) to take part in exchange opportunities at participating international institutions. Students who meet the stipulated requirements can receive funding for approved study abroad programs lasting anywhere between eight days up to one year.

Okayama University Medical School, Faculty of Medicine receives financial support for the following two programs:
2021-2023: Medical education study abroad program focusing on basic and clinical training
2020-2022: Okayama University and ASEAN! Nurturing global medical human resources to promote the SDGs

 

Through these scholarship programs, students can receive funding to complete their medical research internship (MRI) or elective participatory clinical training abroad (please note that applicants must meet certain grade requirements).
